Common Touch is an independent pottery studio based in Singapore and is run by craftsmen Fyon Cheong and Zestro Leow.
Fyon specialises in the field of sculptures and works with clay, as well as mixed media to create sensory art pieces and installations.
Zestro’s works involve wheel – throwing to create ceramics forms and shape which are often influenced by the beliefs and aesthetic idea from eastern cultures.
Although both craftsmen have their own individual practice, they come together to form the Common Touch Craft Unit with an intention to share the experience of self-growth and forming bonds with people through craft making. As a craft unit, Common Touch designs are unique, functional and individually handcrafted with the blend of traditional and contemporary aesthetics.
Our studio is a light and cosy space, well equipped with a good collection of pottery tools.
We welcome everyone to experience and appreciate the therapeutic joy of creation through pottery from wheel throwing to hand-building. Our art jamming sessions are at a 3 hours duration each time, all materials and tools will be provided. Experienced potters will be there to guide you in your creations.
We would love to create an opportunity for you and your fellow colleagues to bond together as a team, through the joy of crafting your own pottery.
No experience or any form of art background is required; a blend of curiosity, imagination, creativity and playfulness is all you need to have an enjoyable time.
